I took the majority of these shots with my new iPhone 4S. It really does have an awesome camera on it. I also have a plethora of apps including Camera+, Snapseed, 100 Cameras, and PS Express. I took the capitol picture this morning before my friends showed up for their family portrait session. These birds kept circling around the Capitol, so I fired off a 3 exposure HDR on my Nikon D700 with NIkon 24-70mm lens. The photo came out great. I hope you enjoy.

I woke up at 5:30AM and decided to head downtown to catch the sunrise. I love Austin. I love everything about Austin including the people, the food, the music, and the art. As I was walking back to my car, I noticed two other individuals with cameras on their way to take photographs. At first, I was like Hah!!! I got the better light. You should’ve gotten up earlier, but then I thought to myself. That was me 5 years ago. I wasn’t sure what I wanted or how to capture it. I respect all people who have the courage to start something new and who put their work out there for everyone to see. Whether I am shooting weddings or the city I love, it fuels my passion and fills me with happiness. Cheers to everyone who has the courage to seek happiness.
